Mark Jasa
Pastor Mark Jasa was installed in March of 2014 at Mount Olive. Prior to this he was the Pastor of the University Lutheran Chapel at UCLA, beginning there in August of 2005. He received his Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis and served his vicarage at Humboldt State University in California.
Rev. Mark Jasa, M.Div., is also a fellow of the Int'l Academy of Apologetics, Evangelism & Human Rights; a former overseas missionary; has seven years of full-time campus ministry experience; is known for his "no fear" approach to evangelism and his provocative signs.

But there is something far more serious and important: being reconciled to our Father in Heaven.

We chase after status, wealth, luxury, glory, honor, youth, beauty, and pleasure. We work ourselves to death. For what?
Who should we baptize and when? How old does the person have to be? What if we get it wrong? Will something terrible happen to us?

I explained to her that Jesus was quoting Psalm 22 and pointing us to the prediction of His crucifixion. She then replied, "Isn't there more to it than that?"
We all began by hearing the truth, and then speaking the truth and believing the truth. That truth came to us on the lips of another.
